यूसीएल (अपडेट क्लाइंट लाइट) यूआईडीएआई द्वारा विकसित एक जनसांख्यिकीय अपडेट क्लाइंट/सॉफ्टवेयर है जिसके माध्यम से एक निवासी अपने जनसांख्यिकीय विवरण जैसे नाम, पता, मोबाइल, ईमेल आईडी इत्यादि को अपडेट कर सकता है। नामांकन मशीनों के बिना वीएलई निवासी के “आधार जनसांख्यिकीय” को अपडेट कर सकते हैं। डिजिटल सेवा सीएससी पोर्टल के माध्यम से विवरण। वीएलई यूआईडीएआई द्वारा अधिकृत सिंगल फिंगर प्रिंट प्रमाणीकरण उपकरण का उपयोग करके सेवा का लाभ उठा सकते हैं। यूसीएल करने वाले सीएससी अब आधार अपडेशन के लिए ग्राहकों की मदद कर सकते हैं। नागरिक इस सेवा के लिए निकटतम सीएससी पर जा सकते हैं। आधार यूसीएल को सक्रिय करने के लिए किसी भी बैंक के साथ बैंक बीसी पंजीकरण अनिवार्य है। अब कोई भी निवासी अपने नजदीकी सीएससी यूसीएल केंद्र पर आधार में अपना मोबाइल नंबर जोड़/अपडेट कर सकता है।

Till a few days ago, the creation of Aadhaar credentials was stopped but now again you have started creating Aadhaar credentials in CSC, then you can also do the work of UCL by creating your Aadhaar credentials. For this there is some requirement of CSC, you have to fulfill it like
- You must have the BC point of any bank
- Must have a broadband connection with static IP
- Must have CCTV camera
- The laptop should be with uidai specification
- And your CSC center should have a toilet and seating area

UCL (Update Client Lite) is a Demographic Update Client/Software developed by UIDAI through which a resident can update his/her demographic details like Name, Address, Mobile, Email ID, etc. VLEs without enrollment machines can update resident’s “Aadhaar demographic” details through the Digital Seva CSC portal. VLEs can avail of service using a single fingerprint authentication device authorized by UIDAI. CSCs doing UCL can now support customers for Aadhaar updation. The citizens can visit the nearest CSCs for this service. For Activating Aadhaar UCL, Bank BC Registration with any bank is mandatory. Now any Resident can Add/Update His/Her Mobile Number in Aadhaar at the nearest CSC UCL Center.
