What is Fino Bank Video KYC Process?

Fino Video KYC or VKYC is a self on boarding process for potential Merchants of Fino Payments Bank to open a BC Pool Account and start operating as Fino Payments Bank Business Correspondent
Through Fino VKYC Process, the potential Merchant at the comfort of his shop can submit his KYC Documents while being on the Video KYC session, validate his details and get his BC Pool Account opened
The Video KYC session is attended by Fino Payments Bank Employee and a Concurrent auditor to verify the details and KYC documents submitted
Post due diligence at Concurrent Auditor’s end, the BC Pool Account of the potential Merchant is opened
Fino VKYC Process is a secure, intuitive and seamless method of capturing the KYC details of the potential Merchants
This is a Self Help mode for becoming FPB Merchants without any need of visiting any FPB branch or meeting any Sales Representative of FPB or any FPB Distributor

Requirements for becoming Fino Payment Bank Merchants through Fino VKYC Process:

Aadhaar Card
PAN Card
Active Mobile number registered with Aadhaar (UIDAI)
Good internet connectivity
Finger print capture device (Morpho/ Evolute/ Mantra brand)
Initial Funding Amount: INR 2000 (Inclusive of GST)
During VKYC, customer/merchant needs to be in his shop. Shop images are mandatory

How to get Fino Payment Bank CSP sitting at home

This is enabled on the fino Mitra Application only ,So, anyone who wants to become Fino Merchant, needs to do the following, and get started:

Download Fino Mitra Application from the Google Playstore
Click on Become Fino Merchant tab on Home screen
Follow the instructions for completing the Fino VKYC process
Capture their Finger Prints using Biometric Device at their end (Morpho/Evolute/Mantra Brand); or alternatively,by visiting branch users and merchant points via service request
Deposit the Initial Funding in their newly opened Merchant Account via IMPS on their registered mobile no. with FPB or by doing cash deposit on their registered mobile no. with FPB on assisted channel (branch or merchant)

This is a session based VKYC process, wherein Fino Employee is present throughout the session to validate the KYC
details shown by the potential merchant. The same session is verified by a Concurrent Auditor after some time
In case the details found are incorrect, the Account is rejected and there is no provision of revision in case of VKYC
process
The whole process is intuitive in itself as it is designed for Self Help for potential Merchants with easy Information Popups, Messages with call to action and SMS to potential merchants at selected steps
The instructions for Fino VKYC and Terms and Conditions are mentioned in English and Hindi for easy understanding
Through Fino VKYC, merchants will be on-boarded in Individual Holding capacity only
By default, merchants on-boarded through Fino VKYC will be given non-CASA transactional rights
BC Pool Account opening TAT through Fino VKYC is T+2 working days (T is the day of Fino VKYC)
