NMC And SDMC MOU WITH CSC FOR BETTER SERVICES

In order to facilitate better municipal services for the citizens of Delhi, the North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NMC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CSC SPV.

Around 15 municipal services like registration of birth and death, property tax, e-mutation, health trade license, general trade license and more will be available to the citizens through about 816 CSCs.

SDMC Mayor Shri Raja Iqbal Singh said that various online municipal services such as registration of birth and death, property tax and eMutation, health trade licence, general trade licence, veterinary trade licence, factory licence application services, park and community hall booking, renewal of The Bazari, hawking, hackney carriage would be available online through these CSCs.

Shri Singh said that around 15 municipal services would be available to the citizens through about 816 CSCs run by the Union Government. He said that citizens who do not have IT access can avail multiple municipal services under the CSC centres easily.

On the occasion, North Commissioner Shri Sanjay Goel, Additional Commissioner, Shri Ashish More, Additional Commissioner, Shri Sunil Bhadu, Additional Director (IT) Himanshu Gupta and other senior officials were also present.

Shri Sanjay Goel said that CSCs are the access points for delivery of essential public utility services, social welfare schemes, healthcare, financial, education and agriculture services and now civic services of the NMC would also be available to the citizens of North Delhi.

Shri Goel said that it is a step towards the ‘Digitial India Programme’ and to provide municipal services to the citizens of North Delhi in the simplest way. “It provides digital access and makes e-governance services available to the citizens at doorstep,” he said.
